I will also be riding for my father- retired Firefighter of 20 years on FDNY Engine 316- Nicholas Wowk. My father spent weeks at Ground Zero sorting through the rubble. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with lung complications from his service and retired in 2006 due to those complications. I’m proud to follow in his footsteps, honoring his badge # and last name. ❤️
