Join us in standing strong for our first responders by donating today.

My name is Rian, In September I will be taking part in a cycle from Boston to new York  and I am proud to be taking part in the Ride for Resilience as part of the Irish firefighter contingent travelling over. Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of cycling alongside firefighters from the FDNY and the NRFA here in Ireland, experiences that have deepened my respect for the global firefighting community.
Coming from a strong firefighter family background, this journey holds deep personal meaning for me. Being given the opportunity to cycle in honour of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, as well as those who have passed since due to related illnesses, is both humbling and profoundly significant.
This ride is not just about the distance covered, but about remembrance, solidarity, and continuing the legacy of courage and resilience that defines the firefighting community worldwide.

So please donate to my efforts no matter how big or small

What’s my motivation

Wednesday 1st Apr
My motivation for taking part in the Ride for Resilience comes from my personal roots. Coming from a firefighter family and having cycled alongside members of the FDNY and NRFA in recent years, I’ve developed a deep respect for the global firefighting community.
To ride in memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, and those who have since passed due to related illnesses, is a true honour and a meaningful way to show respect, remembrance, and solidarity.
