25th anniversary of 9/11
Tuesday 24th MarFor the past two years, I have ridden with the FDNY cycling team across Ireland with the Irish Retained Firefighters Association (NRFA) to raise funds for the Friends of Firefighters. This year, in honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, I will be riding 343 miles from Boston to New York City. The ride will start in Boston on Sept. 5th and finish at the WTC on Sept 10th.
I will be cycling alongside 500 cyclists from the FDNY, NRFA, and Boston FD, as well as civilians, to honor those we lost and the heroes who continue to serve. We are raising money for three incredible charities: Friends of Firefighters, the Boston Fire Cancer Foundation, and Livestrong.
