I had a plan!!
Wednesday 24th Jun
My apologies for not posting anything recent, but I fell into a snafu that interrupted my training for the ride, I literally fell off a bridge!! While I truly feel I got lucky and only came away with a broken arm, my training plan came to a screeching halt. So for the last month the only thing that I have been allowed to do was rest, heal and think about all of the training time that I am missing (If you want a laugh, give me a call and I will tell you a story). My doctor should be releasing to me soon to start some form of training that will be within my restrictions, and that I should be able to participate in the event come September.
I still plan on raising money for this awesome charity, I still plan on bringing more awareness and support to our cancer survivors and I still plan on riding every mile. There might be a little discomfort involved, but it is nothing compared to what others have gone through.
