Join us in standing strong for our first responders by donating today.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I've committed to raising funds as we ride 343 miles to honor the fallen, support the survivors, and stand with the first responders who still fight battles most of us never see, including cancer, trauma, and the toll of years spent serving others.

Please help me support this cause by making a donation through my page and don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating. I can't do this without you!

Why Livestrong

Thursday 19th Mar

As a 26-year cancer survivor, I strongly believe in the importance of survivorship. Livestrong is dedicated to helping individuals not only survive cancer, but live well at every stage of the journey. I have worn a yellow Livestrong bracelet for years as a daily reminder to live with strength and purpose. For me, living strong can mean something as simple as stepping outside to feel the sun, or as challenging as cycling 50 miles.

Living strong also requires physical strength. Exercise is often referred to as the fourth pillar of cancer treatment, alongside surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Livestrong offers evidence-based programs that help survivors rebuild strength during and after treatment, while also providing encouragement and a sense of community. We face this journey together—united as One in the Fight.

Cancer touches nearly everyone. Approximately 40 percent of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and countless others will be affected through a loved one or close friend. Donations to Livestrong are essential to sustaining these programs and expanding their reach, ensuring that survivors have access to the resources, support, and hope they need to live well beyond diagnosis.

I encourage you to support Livestrong through a financial contribution. Your donation directly helps survivors regain strength, maintain independence, and continue living strong—today and in the years ahead.

Weekend progress

Sunday 8th Mar
This has been one of those weekends. I’m now on a 6 week schedule for my chemo infusions and Tuesday was my latest. It normally takes a few days to hit me and then a week for my body to calm down. Haven’t ridden since Thursday but hopefully I’ll be fine by this Thursday.

Gotta keep moving.

Let's get it started

I think you are doing a great thing! I was a firefighter for 30 years and ended up with prostate cancer. I know the government hasn't been great about taking care of these folks. I am sure this fundraiser will help.
