Why Ride
Monday 6th JulOn September 6-10 I will be participating with 500 other riders on a 343 mile bicycle ride from Boston to New York City to honor the 343 firefighters who gave their life in service to others on September 11, 2001. The dual purpose is to raise funds to support First Responders and their families facing cancer and trauma today.
I – like you too I’m sure – have friends and family that are First Responders. We also have friends and family that have dealt with cancer. Cancer sucks!
I have been involved in bicycling for 21 years, having logged over 46,000 miles locally, in state, in Oklahoma, Colorado and California and across Iowa.
I humbly request your assistance in helping me reach – or exceed
– my fundraising goal of $4,000.
