Join us in standing strong for our first responders by donating today.
On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I've committed to raising funds as we ride 343 miles to honor the fallen, support the survivors, and stand with the first responders who still fight battles most of us never see, including cancer, trauma, and the toll of years spent serving others. Please help me support this cause by making a donation through my page and don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating. I can't do this without you!

Boston to New York Ride for Resilience
Sunday 29th MarThere are some challenges you take on for the physical test, some for the adventure, and others for something much deeper. Cycling from Boston to New York in support of Friends of Firefighters is firmly in that last category for me.
I’m incredibly proud—and genuinely grateful—to be part of this event supporting FDNY firefighters, particularly those who have been injured in the line of duty and the families who continue to live with the loss of loved ones. As a firefighter myself, I understand firsthand the level of commitment and sacrifice required to step forward and help others, often in the most difficult and unpredictable situations. That shared understanding makes this cause even more meaningful to me.
This ride is about more than miles on the road. It’s about recognising the sacrifices made by firefighters and their families—sacrifices that often go unseen by the wider world. Behind every call they answer is a level of courage and commitment that most of us will never fully understand. And when things go wrong, the impact lasts far beyond that single moment.
That’s where Friends of Firefighters makes such a difference. The organisation provides vital, ongoing support—whether that’s mental health services, wellness programmes, or simply a community that understands what these individuals and families are going through. Knowing that this ride helps sustain that support gives every kilometre a deeper purpose.
For me personally, taking part is both a challenge and a privilege. There will be tough moments along the way—long stretches, tired legs, and maybe even a bit of doubt—but none of that compares to what the people we’re supporting have endured. Keeping that perspective will be what drives me forward.
I’m looking forward to being part of something bigger than myself, riding alongside others who share the same motivation, and contributing to a cause that truly matters. If this journey can help raise awareness, generate support, and honour the resilience of firefighters and their families, then every mile will be worth it.
Thank you to everyone who supports, donates, or simply follows along—it genuinely means a lot. Let’s make it count.
