The Journey We Never Got to Take Together

For as long as I can remember, my mom and I dreamed of visiting Berlin together. We always thought we'd have time.

Breast cancer changed those plans, and I lost my mom in December 2021 after her four-year battle with the disease.

This September, I'll finally be in Berlin—but in a way neither of us could have imagined. I'll be running the Berlin Marathon with Team LIVESTRONG in her memory while raising funds to support people and families navigating cancer.

I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It feels like a chance to honor my mom, fulfill a dream we never got to share, and help others facing one of life's hardest journeys.

The funds we raise help LIVESTRONG provide free, life-changing programs for people affected by cancer, including fertility support for young adults, the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program that helps survivors regain strength and confidence after treatment, and Ellis, LIVESTRONG's AI-powered resource that connects people with trusted information and support when they need it most.

My goal is to raise $3,500, and I'd be honored if you'd join me on this journey. Every donation—no matter the amount—helps ensure these programs remain free and accessible to those who need them.
