Racing Leadville for Livestrong
On August 15, 2026, I will be racing the Leadville Trail 100 MTB as part of Team LIVESTRONG.
The race covers 105 miles through the mountains of Leadville, Colorado, with over 12,000 feet of climbing and elevations reaching 12,500 feet above sea level. It is one of the toughest mountain bike races in the world and will be a huge physical and mental challenge.
I am racing Leadville to help raise money and awareness for LIVESTRONG and the millions of individuals and families impacted by cancer every day. Cancer affects far more than just treatment itself. It impacts families, mental health, finances, recovery, and the ability to feel normal again. LIVESTRONG helps provide support and resources to patients, survivors, and their loved ones through programs that are completely free to those who need them.
Training for Leadville has already demanded a lot from me, but it is nothing compared to the fight that cancer patients and survivors go through. That perspective is a huge part of why I wanted to be part of this team and support this cause.
