My journey toward making a broader impact - Cancer Survivors Need Your Help

As I embark on another test of fitness, my journey carries a different meaning and purpose that I feel honored to carry. The Leadville 100 mountain bike race in Leadville, CO, is one of the hardest and most rugged mountain bike races in the states. Leadville Colorado sits as the highest elevated city in the US and is the home of the most challenging endurance events. I’ve completed the bike race the last two years but this year I’ll be riding for a different purpose. I’ll be donning the yellow and black colors of LIVSTRONG as I complete the 105 miles of everything Leadville can throw at me. Joining the LIVESTRONG team is an honor and an opportunity to support people navigating cancer at every stage, including patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

Above all, my goal is to raise funds to help provide critical support for many programs LIVESTRONG offers individuals and families battling this deadly disease and for those survivors trying to regain fitness and wellness again. My ride this year will help to bring more awareness but also provide an opportunity for my friends and loved ones to support.
