If you thought I’d had enough, think again! I’m gearing up to tackle another 26.2 with the LIVESTRONG team! Consider this my formal announcement: I'm running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon!! And truly, what better way to mark my first year in this city?
Over the past four years, I’ve committed to raising funds for LIVESTRONG to support people navigating cancer at every stage — patients, survivors, and their loved ones. As you might expect, this mission continues to hit home, resonating on a deeply personal level for me and many in my sphere. Funds raised help provide critical, free programs to patients and caregivers across the country, alleviating some of the quantifiable burdens associated with this disease.
If you know me, you know running has been an anchor in my life for quite some time. That said, my experiences in NYC and Berlin have come to shape my view of the sport. It’s one thing to run for yourself, but quite another to do it for something more. Running with this team has offered a personal opportunity to make an impact on a cause near and true to me which would not have been possible without the donor support I’ve received from my family, friends, and coworkers.
So with that, let yet another training cycle begin! Whether you’re able to donate, send some Strava kudos, or feed me a (blue) gatorade on 1st Ave, I thank you in advance!
