Cancer Survivors Need Your Support Now More Than Ever
On November 1, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon to raise money for LIVESTRONG, an organization that supports people navigating cancer — patients, survivors, and their families.
Growing up, one of my favorite books was It’s Not About the Bike by Lance Armstrong. His battle with cancer and the perseverance it required left a lasting impression on me. That story still shapes how I think about resilience and pushing through difficult challenges.
Endurance events have always been something I enjoy — from long-distance races to hiking the mountains of New Hampshire. Running this marathon is another challenge, but this one is about supporting people facing challenges far greater than a race.
