Turning Miles Into Hope
This year, I’ll be running the New York City Marathon with a purpose far greater than crossing the finish line.
I’m honored to run in support of LIVESTRONG, helping raise funds for people navigating cancer — patients, survivors, and the families walking beside them every day.
As someone deeply connected to health, fitness, and endurance sports, I’ve always believed that physical strength can teach us resilience, discipline, and hope. But the strength shown by those facing cancer is on an entirely different level.
Running 26.2 miles is a challenge.
Fighting cancer is a life challenge.
This marathon is also deeply personal to me.
I’ll be carrying with me the memory of my father, Jose Domingo, and my dear friends Beatrice Hebert and Sammy — people whose strength, courage, and spirit continue to inspire me every day.
Their lives remind me that resilience is not only physical — it is emotional, mental, and deeply human.
Every training session reminds me that this marathon is not only about sport — it’s about support, community, remembrance, and standing beside people who need hope during difficult moments.
Every mile I run represents encouragement, resilience, and real support for families facing cancer.
