Cancer Survivors Need Your Support Now More Than Ever
I’ve spent some time thinking about how to share this, because like many of us, cancer has touched my life — and the lives of people around me — in very real and recent ways.
Out of respect for those experiences, I want to keep this simple and focused on something positive.
I’ve committed to raising funds for LIVESTRONG, an organization that supports people at every stage of the cancer journey — from diagnosis to survivorship, and for the people who love them along the way.
What matters to me about LIVESTRONG is how practical their support is. They provide free programs like fertility services, fitness and recovery programs to help survivors regain strength, and tools that connect people to trusted information and resources when they need it most.
This felt like a meaningful way for me to show up and contribute.

Training
Saturday 30th May Training for this race has started off slow and inconsistent. But my time in feet (standing at desk), overall activity levels, and Disney pass (which turns into a lot of weekly walking) are all helping to get me started in the right direction. Summer is just around the corner and shaping up to be incredibly busy so I know I will need to be more deliberar about my training, run goals, and fundraising efforts. Thank you to everyone who supports me and gives me the emotional courage to keep moving! Share
